How to defrost: Best defrost at 0-4 degrees with Salmon inside sealed bag.
Cooking Tip: DO NOT defrost at high temperature!
To avoid having the salmon stick to the pan please try using parchment paper. Once the pan is hot, cook both sides of the thawed salmon (2-4 min. each) at medium heat until the inside is cooked. Cover with a lid when cooking.
Traditionally this salted salmon is eaten for breakfast and always over rice. Rice for brunch? Are you insane :) ? But we tested this salmon and we discovered that it is deliciously flaky and very juicy - and extremely pleasant with .. yes yes .... with cream cheese and on a bagel. Please don't laugh - it seemed a great replacement for standard smoked salmon. whether a medium rare or well done - simply excellent The hungry brunch eaters here at K&K We also tried alone with a little mustard - simply lovely - please try some this weekend.
